Haven't been sleeping that well. I think our bed is infested with bedkitties. I've only spotted the one so far, but you know what they say: if you see one, there's bound to be a hundred more hiding nearby.

Yesterday I went into the bedroom and there was a kitty on the bed.

That in itself was very cool, but when I looked closer I saw that it was not just any kitty on the bed -- it was in fact my favorite kitty in the whole world on the bed!

What are the chances?!? What are the odds that of all the kitties that could be lying on the bed, it would be my favorite kitty in the whole world? Astronomical, I tell you! Astromaniacal!

Life with a cat

I am taking a soaking bath, and Millie barges in to hang out beside me on the fluffy shag bathmat. She leaps up onto the wall of the tub -- astonishingly silently for such a butterball -- to sniff the water, but does not quite fall in. She does knock my entire magazine into the water, however, rendering it unreadable for the night. I shoo her off before she can step onto the toilet. She plants both feet on the mat, drapes her paws over the side of the tub, and yowls at me.

Someone is due for a bath, and she might get it sooner than she thinks!
